How the Tier Testing Works
- Test Entry Requirement: To request an official test, you must invite 3 active players to our Discord server. Once they join, open a testing ticket and we will begin.
- Official Testers: All certified testers on our server are ranked LT3 or higher in their respective test gamemode.
- Fair Play & Latency: All duels are played on
swiftpvp.net. A ping equalizer can be requested to ensure completely fair gameplay. - Consequences: Use common sense β if it feels unfair, it probably is. Breaking any rules results in a Temporary Ban on the first offense, and a Permanent Ban for repeat violations.
Frequently Asked Questions
Got questions about the SwiftTier network? Find answers below.
Q How do I get my ranks displayed on this page?
You must join the official SwiftPvP community Discord server, invite 3 friends to get whitelisted for a tier test, and then open a ticket in the tickets channel. A certified tester (LT3 or higher) will guide you through the test.
Q How are my overall points calculated?
Your overall points are the sum of weights from every gamemode you hold a rank in. The weights are: HT1 = 100, LT1 = 75, HT2 = 50, LT2 = 30, HT3 = 20, LT3 = 12, HT4 = 8, LT4 = 4, HT5 = 2, LT5 = 1.
Q What are the player titles and how many points do they need?
Every player carries a title based on their total points: Novice (0β5 pts) β just getting started, Rising (6β25 pts) β starting to climb, Skilled (26β50 pts) β experienced across the ranks, Expert (51β99 pts) β seriously seasoned, and Pro (100+ pts) β the elite of SwiftPvP. The progress bar under your name on the leaderboard shows exactly how far you are from the next title.
Q What's the difference between Crystal and Vanilla modes?
In SwiftTier, the "Crystal" gamemode is mapped directly to "Vanilla" mode, aligning with Minecraft's default settings and keeping the database layout simple.
Q How does the client-side mod read my ranks?
The SwiftTier Fabric mod downloads the parsed player database and overlays custom pixel-art icons next to players' names on tab lists and nametags in-game.
Q How often are leaderboards synced?
Leaderboards are rebuilt automatically from official test records the moment a test is logged β the website updates in real time.
